The Scramble Open will be hosted on May 19-20 at Indian Wells Golf Resort in Palm Springs, CA. Teams of four women will compete in Gross and Net divisions using the Ambrose handicap method. Ambrose is simple: 50% of the average of the four members’ course handicaps.
A new addition to our competition schedule is the Team Championship that will be held on the Slammer & Squire Course at the World Golf Hall of Fame in St. Augustine, FL on June 23-24, 2023. This two-person team event will feature two different stroke play formats over 36-holes, fourball and scramble.
2023 marks the 27th year of the LPGA Amateur Golf Association® Championship Open. This is an individual flighted Stroke Play competition. Awards will be given for gross and net in all flights. The LPGA Amateur Golf Association® Open will be held at Indiana University Golf Course - Pfau Course in Bloomington, IN.
The LPGA Amateur Golf Association® will host nine Regional Qualifiers across the US in September. The Cup Finals will be held on October 20-21, 2023 at the Robert Trent Jones Trail at Oxmoor Valley in Birmingham, Alabama. Teams of eight women compete in Four Ball and Singles Match Play over two days of competition.
After the positive feedback we received in 2020, the LPGA Amateurs are excited to announce the third annual Virtual Scramble! Create your own team of four LPGA Amateurs and play a 4-person scramble at any Par 72 course. Rounds can be played any time between August 4-20.
