LPGA Amateurs Championship Finals

2020
Championship

2020 marks the 25th year of the LPGA Amateur Golf Association™ Championship. This is an individual Stroke Play competition (the scramble format has been removed from the Championship series). We are also moving to open registration at the Sectional Championship Qualifiers. Players are now allowed to choose which sectional they want to compete in. We are increasing the number of flights by decreasing the handicap range for each flight. This will create more balanced competition at all levels. There will be 10 Sectional Championship Qualifiers (SCQs) conducted from August to early October. Those qualifying to advance from an SCQ will then move on to compete in the national LPGA Amateur Golf Association™ Championship being played at La Cantera Resort in San Antonio, Texas on November 6-7, 2020.
